How sweet it was....

Yesterday, I posted a blog regarding our best friends sweet baby girl. Today, we went to her memorial service and the graveside ceremony. It was so beautiful. The pastor said so many sweet things and allowed Aaron and Andrea to show a fabulous slideshow of the 48 hours that Aubrey was with us. Allow me to say, there was not a dry eye in the church. Along with the slideshow was a sweet song called "Aubrey". At the end of the service, Aaron and Andrea stood up to say a few words. I think I heard it all, in between my sobs. How Aaron held it together as well as he did to say the most beautiful things about his baby girl, his adoring/loving wife and how proud he was to be a dad and a loving husband. It was truly an emotional moment and day.

As Jason and I attended Aubrey's memorial service, Kennedy was at Nana Jurey's house. She was very fortunate to see her lovely great Aunt's in Scotland. She visited with Auntie Mary, Auntie RoseAnn and Uncle Thomas (Baby God-daddy). So they enjoyed seeing her for the first time in person, via the internet. According to Auntie Audrey, she really enjoyed her time via the internet. Thanks guys for allowing her on your skype time!

Wishing you all a safe and short work week.
Jason, Jen and Kennedy.
